Family Explorer allows you to see all of the family's with a relationship with your parish and see if they are registered at your parish or at another parish

Add columns for "Church Name", "Church City" and "Church ID" and “Registered Church ID” to your explorer layout.  This will allow you to see all the parishes a family is part of once you’ve searched for a particular family. If you are doing a census clean up, leave the Family Name unfiltered to see everyone. You can only select families that are highlighted in blue

To see only families with a relationship with your parish, Filter the Church ID for "equal to" your church ID (as found in the URL).

Look at the "Registered Church ID" column and compare it to the "Church ID"

If the "Church ID " matches the "Registered Church ID ", then the family is registered at your church.

If the "Church ID " doe NOT match the "Registered Church ID ", then the family is registered at another Parish.

If the "Registered Church ID " is blank, then the family is not registered anywhere.

In this example - Felix Abano shows as N registered at church 159, Inactive Status at Church 159,

and IS REGISTERED at Church ID 49.  If I click on the family name, and check the Churches Tab - I can see that he is active and registered at St Anne, Lena.

You can add a filter for Y or N to see if the family is registered

If you are searching by Family Status – then filter for the "Status" Y/N as well.
